GamingDays:AFK 2022 COVID-19 Policy
All attendees to GamingDays:AFK must have completed the initial series of vaccinations for COVID-19 (2 Pfizer or Moderna shots, or 1 J&J). At this time no exemptions are being considered. Proof of vaccination as accepted by relevant government authorities (e.g. CDC vaccination record card) must be shown to the hosts prior to admission to the event. Electronic submission is sufficient.
All attendees may be subject to screening and temperature checks for symptoms of COVID-19 upon arrival. Persons found to have abnormally high temperatures or other significant symptoms as deemed by the Hosts will not be allowed to enter the common areas of the event, however proof of a negative test in the last 24 hours can submitted for consideration in these cases. This status can be re-evaluated after 24 hours of the individual isolating in their own room. Hosts can also evaluate an attendee for potential isolation as described above after initial check-in if deemed necessary by the hosts.
We will have hand sanitizer in all common areas and encourage its use given the highly hands-on nature of board gaming. Disposable masks will also be available, though at this time masks are not required at the event.
Attendees must agree to this policy as a condition of admission to the event. Hosts reserve the right to update this policy as necessary with proper communication to attendees.
